This first chapter will focus on Ayrton & Gabrielle’s relationship with their father, Juan Abreu, from February 2015 to June 2020, when Juan was a single parent, up until children’s services & family courts assisted their mother, Carly Feniwck of Louth – Lincolnshire, with enforcing no contact between them as of October 2020.
The purpose of this, is to provide an in depth view of the chemistry between Ayrton & Gabrielle with Juan, as well as his integrity as a father, with the support of:
- Footage from photos & clips of over 150 separate occasions between February 2015 & June 2020, including contact sessions supervised by social workers from North East Lincolnshire, between July 2017 & April 2018, some of which are covert recordings due to North East Lincolnshire unlawfully forbidding Juan from recording contact sessions supervised by them;
- Description of Juan’s living arrangements from family breakdown in February 2015 to January 2022. There’ll also be a comparison to their mother Carly Fenwick’s arrangements within same period, & what weight it had on children’s services recommendations or decisions;
- Description of Juan’s work arrangements;
- Police, health or any other reports outlining any concerns over Juan’s overall character stability between February 2015 & May 2017 (the remaining reports will be published accordingly, where it can best support context that is more relative in other chapters);
- Contact & eventually shared care arrangements presented in a visual graph;
- Ayrton & Gabrielle’s school reports to show whether there had been concerns for them under Juan’s care;
- Ayrton & Gabrielle’s involvement with paternal relatives during the period of shared custody between June 2015 & May 2017;
…in order to assist any other interested party with establishing the likelihood, of Ayrton & Gabrielle receiving good care, having their needs met, wishes & feelings acknowledged & acted upon accordingly & proportionately, receiving appropriate guidance from Juan in general, & thus justifying shared care, or the instability brought around by their mother with repeated disruptions, as well as the oppressing 90 minutes of weekly contact enforced initially as a result of recommendations from North East Lincolnshire social workers from August 2017 to April 2018, & from Louth (Lincolnshire) social workers from April 2018 to date.

2 – Description of Juan’s living arrangements
Room 4, 359 Hainton avenue, Grimsby – from 26th February to 30th April 2015
The tenancy agreement displayed next over, shows this to be Juan Abreu’s first rental accommodation as of the 26th of February 2016, since Carly Fenwick disappeared 2 weeks earlier with both their children, Ayrton & Gabrielle Abreu, without prior warning or disclosure of her intentions. He decided to move out in order to facilitate Ayrton & Gabrielle’s return to familiar surroundings at the family home.
Their mother, Carly Fenwick, used this rental property’s proximity to the family home as a reason not to return Ayrton & Gabrielle to familiar surroundings, using the false allegations of domestic abuse as grounds. The credibility of those allegations will be determined on chapter 2.
It offered a single room, roughly measuring 2.5 by 3.5 meters, with enough space for a single bed, a fitted wardrobe & a basin. The bathroom/shower room, kitchen & living room we’re shared with tenants from 4 other rooms.
Whilst in the accommodation, Juan upgraded single bed in the room, to a high rise bed with futon bellow. This was to enhance privacy for when Ayrton &/or Gabrielle came over to spend time together, by providing a more versatile living space in the bedroom, & also in the event of their mother pulling back from relationship counselling as suggested by Juan, he would have somewhere for both Ayrton & Gabrielle to sleep on, as he moved on to improve living arrangements more suitable for sleepovers.
There aren’t many photos of this bedroom, & the only ones that can provide some perspective to its layout or dimensions, are on the slide displayed next over. Photos can be blown up by clicking on them.
First floor flat, 20 Lovett street, Cleethorpes – from 29th April 2015 to mid February 2016.
The tenancy agreement displayed next over, starting on the 29th of April 2015, shows this to be Juan Abreu’s second rental property since moving out of the family home on the 26th of February 2015.
He chose to make this move after coming to the conclusion that his former partner Carly Fenwick, & mother to Ayrton & Gabrielle Abreu, was displaying several strong indications that she didn’t intend on seeking relationship counselling or reconciling.
With that in mind, Juan went searching the market for accommodation that would be better suited for Ayrton & Gabrielle Abreu to start sleeping over.
Due to Juan’s income at the time, this 1 bedroom flat seemed to be a good stepping stone, to what later on could potentially be a full house, with several bedrooms. This rental property was located on the top floor of a house converted to 2 flats, & offered 1 double bedroom, a living room with dinning area, a small kitchen, a bathroom, & a small storage area near the rear shared garden.
Juan turned the high sleeper + futon to a single on top & double on bottom bed, in order to accommodate for all 3 to sleep comfortably. As a way to prevent any sense of favouritism, Ayrton & Gabrielle took turns sleeping on the bottom bed with daddy. Juan also sourced a wardrobe, & a couple of storage units for clothing & toys belonging to Ayrton &/or Gabrielle.
In the living room, daddy placed a 3 seater double recliner sofa from the family home, as their mother Carly intended on disposing of it, after having purchased new sofas for her property. He also added a small unit for the TV to stand on & for general storage, together with a coffee table, dinning table & mix matched chairs, & a Spanish medium rag rug. He later on added further storage for Ayrton & Gabrielle’s toys, & used the coffee table for Ayrton & Gabrielle’s hamster – Rhino (From the film “Bolt”), until it was given away as it wasn’t getting enough attention when Juan was working full time, with Ayrton & Gabrielle either at school or with their mother.
Juan also ended up installing a shower head & curtain, in order to improve hygiene for himself, Ayrton & Gabrielle when they slept over.
This rental property was their accommodation for the following 9 months. There aren’t many photos of this accommodation, & the ones available are of us in the property therefore, I’ve done my best to provide photos that can provide some perspective to its layout or dimensions, on the slide displayed next over. Photos can be blown up by clicking on them.
5 Kettlewell street, Grimsby – from 2nd February 2016 to 2nd January 2022.
The tenancy agreement next over starting on the 2nd of February 2016, is for the family home of Ayrton & Gabrielle with daddy. This is the accommodation we have the most memories at, the last home they had together before Louth children’s services & the family courts decided there to be no direct contact. He is no longer at that address as of January 2022.
Juan chose to move them all to this property, as much more ample space throughout, including a bedroom for each, a spacious living & dining room, spacious bathroom with a bath & separate shower enclosure, a big kitchen, & a rear courtyard. Both Ayrton & Gabrielle’s bedrooms were spacious enough for them to have a high rise or cabin bed, wardrobe or shelves, a good amount of space for them to play in.
In addition, this property was within walking distance to their school at the time, People’s Park was a short walk or bike ride away, & relatively close to Grimsby town centre.
We furnished & decorated it as time went by, with Ayrton ending up with a city playmat as a rug, construction site stickers & his name with Paw Patrol filling on the walls. Whilst Gabrielle had her name in a graffiti sticker, together with owls & bight shinning sky elements on her walls & ceiling, her rocking chair, piano keyboard, an Indominus-Rex & other science themed posters on her walls too.
Whilst downstairs, we ended up with a double recliner 3 seater & a reclining sofa chair, rosewood furniture throughout, a combo air hockey/table tennis/ pool table also used for dinning however, Ayrton & Gabrielle didn’t get to use it as their mother – Carly Fenwick – would disrupt contact using covid-19 concerns as an excuse despite Juan taking time off to ensure it wasn’t a risk. There was a side by side American style fridge freezer in the kitchen, & outside there was a small shed, initially a climbing structure which was then replaced with a greenhouse to encourage both Ayrton & Gabrielle to plant & take care of herbs & small vegetables however, they didn’t get a chance to has Carly would repeatedly disrupt contact using covid-19 as excuses.
In comparison to their mother, Carly Fenwick, between February 2015 & December 2021.
Whilst Juan lived in 3 properties in the same district throughout the period when Ayrton & Gabrielle Abreu we’re still returning to their home with daddy, their mother lived with them in a total of 5 different properties across 2 districts, 2 in North East Lincolnshire & 3 in East Lindsey, which caused them to change schools. She’s also moved them to another property a few months after the final decision of no direct contact was made in October 2020, bringing the total to 6 properties she has moved Ayrton & Gabrielle to.
It’s clear that in this aspect, Juan (daddy) offered more stability to Ayrton & Gabrielle Abreu, when compared to their mother whom moved them to twice as many properties between February 2015 & December 2021.
Did this factor have any weight in the decision making of where Ayrton & Gabrielle Abreu were to live at, albeit as part of shared or sole custody? NO!!!!!
Juan will show you on the following chapters how this factor more favourable to Ayrton & Gabrielle Abreu, did not have any mention in the reports to courts, or part of any considerations to how much time they should spend with daddy.
